1. Menus March 23-27
Vegan and vegetarian lunches are served Monday
through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Gluten free options are indicated with an asterisk.

**Wednesday: Juanitos Casserole, Salad
**Thursday: Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry, Salad
**Friday: Spinach Lasagna Putanesca, Salad

2. Member Meeting on March 31st!
You’ve probably heard by now about the
conversations related to the future of the Co-op,
and the possibility that it might be closing at the end
of this semester. Please come to a special meeting
on Tuesday, March 31st at 7 p.m. at the co-op to
talk about the state of the Co-op. This meeting is
open to all members, customers and supporters of
the Co-op. A more detailed meeting announcement
will be sent out soon.

3. Volunteers Needed for Inventory and Spring
Cleaning! Come one, come all, for our Spring Cleaning
and Inventory Fest on Friday, March 27th (6:30 to
9 p.m.) and Saturday, March 28th from 9 a.m. to
noon. We will be completing our regular inventory
(counting and weighing merchandise), as well as
getting in as much spring cleaning as possible.
Please let us know if you are available and when
we can expect you.

Remember, if you are a member of the co-op, 1 hour
of volunteering earns you a 5% discount for the week,
2 hours = 10%, 3 or more hours = 15%. Plus, you
get to hang out with like-minded folks and contribute
to a great organization!!

If you are NOT a member, you can become one for
$10 per year to receive this discount benefit OR you
are welcome to come and just join the fun as a
non-member volunteer!

4. Happy News! We finished 2008 in the black!
We are happy to report to the co-op membership
that, although we struggled financially at the
beginning of 2008, we took some tough steps
recommended by our accountants and bounced
back at the end of the year with a surplus of $871.
Let us be glad!
