1. Learn about bulk ordering! Buying Club Party!
As the co-op transitions to focusing on its bulk buying
club this summer, we want to invite you to join us
for a “Buying Club Party” on Thursday, May 21st,
at 6 p.m. at the co-op.

If you’re already actively placing bulk orders at the
co-op, come to:
- share your experiences with other
- discuss how we can better reach a wider
community and grow the buying club
- get a refresher course on the bulk buying products
- learn what products are on sale during May

If you’re new to the buying club, come to:
- learn about why bulk buying is friendly both for the
environment and for your pocketbook
- hear others share about their experiences with
bulk buying
- get a visual and financial picture of what bulk
buying is like

2. Store Hours for May, and beyond…
The co-op will be closed on Saturday, May 16th, due
to a campus power down. The co-op will be open
the following hours from May 17th to 31st:
Monday to Friday Noon to 7 p.m.
Saturday to Sunday Noon to 5 p.m.

Beginning June 1st, the co-op will be open two days
a week, staffed entirely by volunteers. Stay tuned
for details!

3. Come join the movement! Volunteer!
As the co-op moves toward a focus on volunteer
labor for the summer, the need for members of
the community to pitch in will be increasing! Contact
the managers (reply to this email) or the board if
you are interested in volunteering!

Some examples of ways you can contribute in the
coming weeks:
- create and/or distribute publicity about the co-op
- educate others about bulk buying
- clean and tidy the co-op space
- tend the co-op herb garden
- become a volunteer cashier
- help process bulk orders
