1. Meal Plan Menu for the week of Feb. 19

Monday - Presidential Pumpkin Ricotta Lasagna (Vegetarian and Vegan), Salad

Tuesday - Cajun Beans and Rice, N'awlins Music, Irish Dessert Pancakes
(for Christine and Alex)
                     ~costumes are optional~

Ash Wednesday - Thin Watery Gruel...(probably a pre-break mystery meal)

No lunch will be served Thursday and Friday, as Earlham College will be
out of session for mid-semester break.


2. NEW ITEM!! BumbleBars!

For those of you who've tried our samples of the BumbleBars in the last
few weeks (also for those who haven't!), just a heads up. We are now
carrying three flavors of the BumbleBar: BumbleBar with Cashews, BumbleBar
Lushus Lemon and BumbleBar Chai with Almonds.

Some fast facts about the BumbleBar: This product is gluten-free,
wheat-free and dairy-free and is free of many common allergens ACCEPT
nuts. Also, the Chai with Almonds and Lushus Lemon include a Soy Crisp.
Each BumbleBar includes 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of flax seed. Main Ingredients
include: Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Brown Rice Syrup, Organic
Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic Flax Seeds, Organic Vanilla Extract,
Organic Cinnamon or Turmeric (depending on flavor), Sea Salt and Natural
Vitamin E for freshness.  Processing agents are Organic Sunflower Oil
and/or Organic Safflower Oil.

3. Eggs from Salem Road Farm
Salem Road Farm brought us a new batch of eggs yesterday, so if you've
been waiting for more eggs, come on in and get some while they last!

4. The Produce Truck brought us a surprise!
This week's winter storm brought us a pleasant surprise on Tuesday.
Because of the weather, one of his other customers had to cancel their
order, so we were offered their produce at a discount!

In the new batch of organic produce, we have:
Granny Smith Apples at $0.50 each
Tangerines at $0.15 each
Bananas at $1.30/lb
Sweet Delicious Strawberries at $3/8.8oz container
Sweet Potatoes at $2/lb
Broccoli at $1.90/lb
An assortment of salad mixes from $2.50/bag
