1. Meal Plan Menu: April 23-27

This is the last week of meals for the semester!  We won't be serving
lunch durng Finals Week

April 23 - April 27

     Monday 4/23/07

               Black Bean, Sweet Potato, Tortilla Pie
               Salad


     Tuesday 4/34/07

               Hoppin' John
               Cornbread


      Wednesday 4/25/07

               Lasagna
               Salad


      Thursday 4/26/07
              Carribean Black Beans
              Coconut Rice


      Friday 4/27/07
              End-o-year Mystery Meal



2. We are accepting Kitchen Manager applications through the end of the
month; however, Monday is the last day to turn in an application form for
a cashier position if you want to be considered for next school year.


3. Incoming Produce: Tuesday, April 10
Organic Produce from B&B Organics will be arriving next Tuesday afternoon
(usually between 2 and 3 if he is on schedule)  Items in this week's order
include:
carrots, onions, Pink Lady Apples, strawberries, Spring Mix and of course,
Naked Juices.


4.  There will still be another email go out before the Richmond Family
Earthday Celebration, but I wanted to bring it to your attention that Sat.
4-28 will be Richmond's celebration.  Although Earthday is "officially"
this Sunday 4-22, Richmond is holding theirs the following Saturday, 4-28,
so as not to conflict with other cities' activities and encourage people
to attend.  Among other businesses and organizations, the Co-op will have
a table there.  Come on down, learn about ways you can help protect the
environment, and see ways that you and Richmond help conserve materials
and energy.  Instead of at the fairgrounds like last year, Earthday will
be held at the Starr-Gennett Building (off Main Street/South 1st Street)
in the Whitewater Gorge from 10AM to 2PM.  Admission is free.


5.  We will be ordering coffee from Cafe Fair on Monday 4-23.  People who
still want to include their order with April's batch, please get that in
ASAP to Jon.  To not be charged for Shipping and Handling, the Co-op must
place a minimun order for 25# so the more people who add their order to
the list, the more frequently we can order.  Cafe Fair sends coffee in 5#
bags.  If you want smaller quantities than that please come into the Co-op
and get what you want from our bulk bins of coffee.  We kind of have a
coffee list of people that consistently want "larger" quantities of coffee
that we send out emails to.  If you would like to receive those emails and
order coffee on a regular or atleast "somewhat" regular basis, please send
an email to the Co-op's email attention: Jon and I will put you on it.

Enjoy the weekend's weather!  It's supposed to be pretty nice.
