Update for the 3rd week of May

1.  The Co-op will be open over the summer; however, our new hours will be
12-7 Tue. - Sat.

2.  With the change in our hours we will also be adjusting our ordering
schedule a little.  Instead of ordering from our main supplier, United,
every week, we will be putting in an order every other Thursday.  So the
schedule for putting those orders, atleast through July, will be:

6/07/07
6/21/07
7/05/07
7/19/07

3.  We generally don't put in produce orders over the summer and encourage
people to support Farmers Markets.  But from our last produce order the
Co-op has apples for .50/each or $4.25/3 lb bag.  We also have organic
broccoli for $1.50/lb, organic onions for $1.81/lb., tomatoes for $1.80
each.  If there is demand, we may put in some orders over the summer, but
it wouldn't be on a consistent schedule.

4.  Local Farmers Markets that the Co-op has participated in in the past
are on Sat. mornings 7-11 located in the parking lot across from the
Morrisson-Reeves Library (at the corner of 6th and Sailor), and one on
Tue. nights near the old train depot.  For more information about the
first Farmers Market you could call Beth Fields at the Uptown Innovation
Center, (765) 962-8151 ext. 2.

5.  I will be putting in a bulk coffee order first thing next week (Tue.
5/22/07) so if anyone is interested in ordering 5# bags of coffee let me
know ASAP.  If you would like to order bulk coffee on a regular basis, we
also have an email list of coffee drinkers that I send out reminders to.

is.

In addition, they offer a Special-of-the-Month.  For all orders for the
Special-of-the-Month flavors there is a discount rate/pound that increases
the more of that flavor we order.  And since the order is coming from one
"person" (Clear Creek Co-op) the weight that is used to calculate the
discount is how much the Co-op orders, not how much you individually are
ordering.  So the more we order, the cheaper it will be.  Price reductions
are:
$.40 off per pound with purchase of 15 or more pounds
$.60 off per pound with purchase of 30 or more pounds
$.80 off per pound with purchase of 45 or more pounds
$1.00 off per pound with purchase of 60 or more pounds
