1. New Items coming in next week!
We've just put in an order and were excited to try some new items recently
recommended by some of our members.  Beginning Tuesday, you should see the
following items on our shelves:
    Dominex Eggplant Burgers (great for your summer backyard grill parties!)
    Blue Diamond Almond Nut Crisp Crackers
    Lundberg Farms Rice Chips

2. Where to get local produce around Richmond?
We are currently working to build relationships with local growers so that
we will soon have local produce available in the fridge daily.  In the
meantime, plan to buy your local produce at the following locations: -
Richmond Farmer's Market, Saturdays 7 to 11 am (although the vendors tend
to pack up around 9am, as most of the regulars seem to do their shopping
before then), in the parking lot just east of Morrison-Reeves Library.
- "North E" Street Fair and Farmer's Market, Tuesdays 4 to 7 pm, located
in the Historic Depot parking lot on North E Street.  This market features
arts and crafts as well as local produce.
- Wayne County Wholesale Produce Auction, every Monday beginning at 1 pm,
and every Wednesday (except June 27, October 3 and 10) and Friday
beginning at 10 am through October 19th.  Located at 8025 Carlos Rd. in
Williamsburg.  For more information, call 765-886-5498.

3. Inventory
Put it on your calendar!  Saturday, June 30th will be the next opportunity
for members to join together at the co-op and help us count inventory. 
There's a lot to get through and it's more fun with more people!  Good
music, great snacks and awesome company!  Come support your local food
co-operative!

We will begin counting at 9 am and finish when we're done.  If you know
that you will be coming, please let us know when you are available, so
that we can plan accordingly.   Thanks!!


4. Closed July 4th
The co-op will be closed Wednesday, July 4th.  Please plan your shopping
schedule around this and enjoy the holiday!
