2. Attention all meal plan members!
If you have signed up for a NON-WORKING MEAL PLAN, it's not too late to
switch to a working meal plan!  We can always use more hands to help do
the work that makes the meal plan happen! Also, this year, we hope to
expand our deli program, with delivery to EC faculty and staff,  and also
provide more delicious wraps and maybe even some tasty salads on a regular
basis!  Please see Jon or Janelle about switching over to the working meal
plan!

If you have signed up for a WORKING MEAL PLAN and have not yet signed up
for your work shift, please come to the co-op this weekend and do so.  And
did you know, that you can also work additional hours at the co-op to earn
a greater discount on items in the store?  If you would be interested in
spending one or two more hours at the co-op, helping us grow and expand,
please talk to Jon or Janelle about volunteering! You can earn up to a 15%
discount on everything in the store!

Also, Constance will be leading three food safety orientations at the
co-op next week for those on the working meal plan, one of which you
should plan to attend:
Monday, 9 pm
Tuesday, 2 pm
Wednesday, 6 pm

Thank you all for supporting/joining the co-op! It's going to be a tasty
semester!


3. Local Produce Just In!
We've been blessed with an abundance of tomatoes and some other yummy
local produce this week:
Butternut squash - $0.94 each   Great for pies and soups!
Potatoes - $0.25 per pound
Tomatoes - $0.65 per pound
Cabbage - $1.20 each
Yellow Squash - 3 for $1.25 or $0.50 each


4. Columbia Gorge Juices and Smoothies are on their way!
We've just put in our first order with B & B Organics.  By Tuesday
afternoon, you should expect to find in the fridge our "Naked Juice
organic replacement".  Columbia Gorge is a 13-year-old family-owned
operation out of Oregon that makes organic fruit juices and smoothies. 
Next week, come try Strawberry-Banana or Mango Smoothie for $2.95 (+ tax)
or a Blueberry or Vita-Green Drink for $3.10 (+ tax).
