1. Co-op lunches are served from 11:30 - 1:00 (M-F)

Tofu "MeatlessLoaf" with mushroom gravy

Thursday (wheat & gluten-free)
Potato Curry with Peas & Raisins over couscous (or rice glutenfree)

Friday (wheat & gluten-free)
Stuffed Butternut Squash
Salad


2. Monday's Labor Day, but the Co-op will be open with our regular hours
(11-8).

3. A new month is here already so stop by the Co-op and check out the
month's specials.  And in next week's Update we'll include a list of
member and everyone sales.

4. Columbia Gorge Juices and Smoothies are on their way!
Last week we put in our first order with B & B Organics for the '07-'08
school year.  We got Strawberry/banana smoothies and 3 kinds of juices
(tangerine/orange, red ginger limeade, and limeade)and plan to try a
couple more flavors in the future.  Stop by and let us know what you think
of them. Columbia Gorge is a 13-year-old family-owned operation out of
Oregon that makes organic fruit juices and smoothies.

5. The Meal Plan (and the Co-op in general) relies on the involvement of
others to run smoothly.  If you haven't signed up for a Working Meal Plan
or know someone who might want to, we encourage you to consider
volunteering for the 11-12 and 12-1 shifts to help increase the Meal
Plan's food-delivery possibilities.  Or consider changing to the Working
Meal Plan; it only takes 1 hour volunteering at the Co-op per week, and
you get a %12 discount on meals.   If your schedule won't fit those
time-slots, talk to Jon, Janelle, Constance, or Eileen about helping with
other tasks like sandwich prep and/or cleaning.
