Co-op Update: Sept. 14-21

1. Menu for Sept. 17-21
** means Gluten-Free
All menus include a Vegan option.
Meals are served from 11:30am to 1pm.

Monday**: Leftover Day, Jumbalaya

Tuesday**: Falafel with Pita, Avocado Tzatziki

Wednesday: Pasta with Spinach Pesto Sauce, Salad, Bread

Thursday**: Mediterranean Platter, Salad

Friday: Udon Noodles and Veggies, Vegetable Tajine, Salad


2. No Bakery this Sunday
There will be no freshly baked bread this Sunday at the co-op, but look
for more bread on Sunday,  Sept. 23rd.


3. Counting and Cleaning and Weeding, Oh My!
On Saturday, Sept. 29th, we will be conducting our quarterly inventory at
the co-op, as well as doing some other deep cleaning and outside work.  We
will begin at 9 am and will continue through the afternoon, until
everything is counted!  We managers can not do this alone!  For all
members who have been looking for an opportunity to put in some quality
time at the co-op, this is your chance!  You can earn up to a 15% discount
for the week following by putting in 1, 2 or 3 hours of volunteer work on
the 29th! Plus, there will be good music, some yummy snacks, and good
company.  Talk to Jon or Janelle about your interest in participating in
the work day.


4. Co-opers to Volunteer at WMUB during Car Talk!
Once again, the Clear Creek Co-op is participating in the semi-annual fund
drive at WMUB, the Public Radio Station out of Oxford, OH.   We like to do
this both to support another member-supported organization as well as to
raise awareness about the co-op to a wider audience.

 This time, we will be staffing the phones on Saturday, October 6th, from
7:30 to 11 am.   If you are familiar with Public Radio, you'll know that
this means we will be there while they are airing Car Talk, a show with a
very large listening audience.  We are excited to have snatched this
popular spot!

We are looking for 3 to 5 members who would like to participate in this
fun outing to accompany Janelle to the station.  We will meet at the co-op
around 6 am on the 6th and carpool down to Oxford.  It would be great to
have some student as well as community members involved!  Please talk to
Jon or Janelle if you are interested.


5. You need to Pay before you Eat!
If you have not paid for your meal plan, you must pay in full by this
Monday before you can eat more meals!
