1. Meal Plan Menus October 29 - November 2
All meals include a vegan option.
* indicates gluten free
Meals are served from 11:30am to 1pm.

*Monday - Mac N Cheese (Vegan and GF, too!), Salad
Tuesday - Artichoke Spinach Lasagna, Salad
*Wednesday - Toad-eye Soup, Real Finger Sandwiches, Bloody Dracula Apples
*Thursday - Build Your Own Taco Bar
*Friday - Spicy Red Lentil Soup, Rice, Salad


2. Annual Member Meeting! on Nov. 11, 3-5pm
The Co-op is having its annual member meeting on Sunday, November 11,
2007 from 3-5 PM, at the store. Don't miss this important opportunity to
help us shape the future of the Co-op!  We'll be discussing the
organization's mission and how it might be changing, efforts to expand
our membership and presence in the community, and what it means to
support and be supported by a food cooperative today.  We welcome
members and non-members alike to join us for good food, news, and
discussion.


3. Fair Trade Month coming to a close!
October, Fair Trade Awareness Month, is coming to a close, so if you'd
like to get a discount on your favorite fair trade chocolate, coffee, tea,
etc.!
Also, come pick up an "Ask me about Fair Trade" button and literature
about fair trade.


4. 4th Annual Holiday BAZAAR: Saturday, December 8th
The time is approaching to put in our orders for the 4th Annual Holiday
BAZAAR on Saturday December 8th (10 am to 5 pm).  If you would like to
browse the "A Greater Gift/SERRV" and Syracuse Cultural Workers catalogues
and pre-order your holiday items, please see Janelle by November 2. Also,
your input as to what types of items we should include in our order would
be very welcome!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO SELL ITEMS AT THE BAZAAR?  We need your creative
"masterpieces"!  Bring in knitting, jewelry, photography, pottery...tell
us what you would like to make off of it, and we simply add 25% to go
towards the Co-op and you get your asking price in the end.  A great way
to earn a little extra holiday cash AND support the Co-op.  Contact
Janelle at the Co-op if you would like to sell your items!


5. Bring us your plastic! (Containers, that is.)
As many of you know, we try to have a bin full of plastic containers
available for customer use.  Currently, our bin is empty.  If you have
unused plastic or glass containers waiting to go in the recycling, we sure
could put them to good "re-use"!  Also, plastic bags and egg cartons are
welcome here!
