1. Meal Plan Returns Monday! Please sign up for your volunteer shift! The
Co-op Meal Plan for Spring 2008 begins this Monday, January 14.  We
currently only have about half of our desired number of volunteers on the
working meal plan.  We are very excited to be expanding our deli program
and are looking in particular for volunteers who can help prepare wraps
from 2 to 3 pm and volunteers who can do clean-up (dishes, sweeping,
mopping) anytime from 1 pm and later.

If you know you would like to be on the working meal plan, please come
into the co-op this weekend to sign up and select your volunteer hour on
the schedule.  If you are held back by finances, please know you have
until February 4th to pay the full cost of your meal plan.  And remember! 
The working meal plan is about 12% cheaper than the non-working plan.

If you are currently signed up for the non-working meal plan, please
consider switching to the working meal plan.


2. Menus for January 14-18
Lunch is served 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Vegan options are available every
day.  Gluten-free options are marked with a *.

*Monday - Spinach & Bean Casserole, Salad
Tuesday - Mac & Cheese, Salad, Brownies
Wednesday - Pasta with Hearty Lentil & Spinach Sauce
*Thursday - Vegetarian Jambalaya, Salad
Friday - BBQ Tempeh & Peppers, Salad, Rice & Beans


3. Bread is back!
Tova and Jessica will be baking bread again this semester on Sunday
mornings, so come on by and get your fresh baked bread on Sunday
afternoons!  Thank you, ladies, for offering this awesome service!


4. Produce from B&B Organics coming Tuesday!
Our first order of produce from B&B Organics will be arriving Tuesday,
bringing things like tangerines (Vitamin C), ginger, onions and garlic. 
If you would like to see a wider variety of produce available at the co-op
during the winter months, please let us know.  Our tendency is to offer
what's in season, but are open to suggestions and deviations from this
policy, if desired.


5. Get your Frontier orders in!
We'll soon be putting in another order with Frontier, so get those orders
in next week!
