Co-op Update: April 18-25, 2008

1. Meal Plan Menus: Last Week to use up those meals!!

1. Meal Plan Menus: Last Week to use up those meals!!
All meals are served with a vegan option.  Gluten-free options are
indicated with an asterisk.  Meals served between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

*Monday - Veggie Burgers and Fries, Salad
*Tuesday - Mac n Cheese, Salad
*Wednesday - Mediterranean Platter (Hummus, Taboule, Pita, Salad)
*Thursday - Juanitos' Mexican Casserole, Salad
*Friday - "Best of" the Co-op Kitchen!

2. Earth Day is Saturday, April 26th!
The Earth Day Family Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 26th from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the co-op will be present with a booth once again!
We hope to see you there!!  Earth-friendly organizations from the Richmond
area will come together to educate and network in an atmosphere of family
fun!

Anyone wishing to get in some volunteer hours by staffing the co-op booth
at this event can contact Jon or Janelle at the contact information below!
We'd love to have you there!


3. Please submit your Cashier Applications this week!
The co-op is now accepting applications for cashier positions for the
2008-09 academic year.  Please pick up an application and return to Jon or
Janelle Flory Schrock at the co-op.  Review of applications will begin
April 25th.  For more information about the positions, please call or

4. Thanks to all our meal plan volunteers!
Thanks to all the Working Meal Plan volunteers! You helped make this
semester's meal plan a success!  These delicious, organic meals can't
happen without your participation!

For returning students, we encourage you to carefully consider
participating again (or for the first time!) in the Working Meal Plan
program in the fall semester!  This semester, we had the highest number of
volunteers in several years.  We hope to keep this co-operative spirit
alive in the coming semesters!

Have a happy, environmentally-friendly summer!
