About Owner-Membership
By becoming an owner-member at the Clear Creek Food Co-op, you’re not just getting more involved in a community resource that provides healthy, organic, bulk and local foods. You’re also joining in an exciting business model focused on shared ownership and member control.
About Owner-Membership
Membership is voluntary and open to all.
You do not need to be an owner-member to shop at our store – we welcome anyone from the community to come in and shop.
If you want to participate in our bulk-ordering program (where you can get the products you love more cheaply because there’s less packaging and overhead), you do need to be an Owner-Member.
This membership model is new for our Co-op as of March 2010, and we’ll be refining it as we try it out this first year. We welcome your feedback and suggestions for improvement!
Becoming an Owner-Member
As an Owner-Member, you will be investing in your local community. Your money will support a cooperative grocery store in which you have a voice.

Investment: $180 per household
Discounts for Working Owner-Members
We’re most successful when our owner-members are engaged in our operations. To that end, we offer special discounts to Owner-Members willing to work volunteer shifts at the store. It’s a great way to meet other members of the Co-op community, and to learn more about food and where it comes from.

Payment Plans
Your owner-member benefit package is effective immediately upon first payment of any amount. The Co-op benefits the most when you pay your investment in full, but if you cannot afford to, you may choose from one of these options:
- 2 yearly payments of $90
- 4 yearly payments of $45
