Volunteer Opportunities
If you a member of the Co-op, then you can work in your own store. Volunteering is one of the most fun benefits that the Co-op offers, and it's beneficial to everyone involved. You support your local Co-op and receive discounts on your groceries, and we keep our operating costs lower through your help. And it feels good to know you're giving the gift of time to your community.
Volunteers receive discounts on all of their purchases at the Co-op and gain valuable experience. Each volunteer position has it's own discount level, up to 15% off for 3 hours of work per week.
Get Involved!
Become a Board member. There are openings on the Board of Directors at least once a year. We need Co-op members to serve in this way! Contact the manager or any current board member if you are interested.
Wanted: anyone who would like to organize the assortment of historical Co-op documents and other useful materials into an accessible and user friendly compilation.
Interested in digging up information on companies and products? We are looking for people to research the items we sell.
Do you have a co-op related passion? Share your knowledge and energy with others by leading an information session or workshop at the Co-op.
Seeking someone who gets a thrill out of deep cleaning and would like to give the Co-op a hardcore scrub down (motivating music welcome, of course!).
Need an outlet for your creative energy? The Co-op is always looking for writers, and other inspired people to help us get the word out about the Co-op.
Do you have ideas for unexplored floor worker possibilities? Is there a job missing that needs to be done? Is there a project you'd like to undertake? We welcome your input!
